Su Doku is a number puzzle based on a rectangular 9x9 grid. The grid is also
divided into nine 3x3 boxes. You are given a selection of values and, to
complete the puzzle, you must fill the grid so that every column, every row and
every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 to 9.
Su Doku became popular in the UK after being adopted by the Times newpaper in
the winter of 2004/5. The puzzles presented in the Times are created by Wayne
Gould (www.timesonline.co.uk/sudoku
and www.sudoku.com).
